| Bio: | Hi there! I am Meg, aka Meghan, aka Ellison (a long time screenname). This is me, in Australia, holding a tree frog:
(I could actually just leave my profile at that, and that would say a lot about me, huh? Heh! But I'm far too chatty for that, so here's a lot of other stuff...)
I have an awesome husband, Joe, who is as geeky as I am (more, actually, heh).
Our two cats are the cutest in the land, and they've got great personalities too. Exhibit A:
Homer is the orange one, a boy, and Patches is a b&w girl. They were both born in 1999.
I love, love, love and adore animals. I am crazy about them (crazy being the key word there)! I started a one year zookeeeping internship in September 2007, which is super awesome!
I graduated from UCLA in June 2006 with my B.A. in Psychology.
I live in two cities right now - San Francisco and Los Angeles. It's a little crazy, but working out okay, so far!
Other things! I am kind of geeky, I like spending time online, I love anime series, as well as some manga, I love t.v. and movies, and love to get lost in captivating novels. Series that have to do with mysteries, crime, space travel, alternate dimensions, time travel and fantasy are particularly appealing to me, though I can also appreciate a good old-fashioned love story. As long as it's a good story, that's what counts. I like reading non-fiction books as well.
I love to travel more than I can describe, and if I had a million dollars, I'd be visiting every continent on earth (I'd also buy you a green dress... but not a real green dress, that's cruel).
I love kids, love teaching them, love playing with them, love witnessing the hilarious things they say. Kids are awesome, and I hope to have some of my own someday.
I am pro: choice, gay rights, gay marriage, religious tolerance for all religions or lack thereof, equality for all.
I really love nature, the ocean, the trees.
I am getting in shape!
I'm optimistic, easy going, and enjoy life a lot. I have my moments of GRR!, of course. As do we all. But for the most part, I really am happy in life, and consider myself extremely fortunate and lucky for the good stuff I've got going on, and am grateful for it all. Life is good!
